Musicology Today:

Coordinated by: prof. univ. dr. Valentina Sandu-Dediu and associate professor Florinela Popa

Initiated in 2010, Musicology Today is the first music magazine in Romania which, in a firm effort to integrate Romanian musicology in the international context, publishes all the material in foreign languages ​​ (English, German and French). The editorial team proposes a different topic for each issue, then gathering, from Romanian and foreign specialists, studies, essays and articles that address at a high academic level, current issues related to historiography, analysis and musical aesthetics, as well as ethnomusicology and Byzantine musicology. Thus, the main goal of the journal is to reflect the effervescence of today’s music world, but also to provide Romanian music researchers (composers, musicologists, performers) with an open work platform, integrated in the context of internationally indexed journals (EBSCO, RILM, and ERIH PLUS).

AkadeMusica:

AkadeMusica magazine includes musicological studies presented by teachers and researchers from UNMB, in various symposia organized at the University.

Doctoral Conferences:

The UNMB Doctoral School has initiated in 2011 a series of doctoral conferences held by famous personalities of the Romanian and, on ocassions, international musical life. The conferences are primarily intended for UNMB PhD students, but access to the interested public is free. Their publication by UNMB Publishing House supports the dissemination of valuable and unique research.

EnArmonia:

The EnArmonia series was initiated in 2011 and includes teaching materials designed for bachelor’s and master’s exams or various competitions organized within UNMB. The collection includes solfeggios, dictations and music theory tests, offered in an electronic version for a higher degree of visibility and accessibility for pre-university education.
